Brookfield City Point, London

In collaboration with We Are Placemaking, Creator designed, fabricated and installed Hive at Brookfield Properties’ CityPoint, delivering a standout feature for their summer arts and events programme. This large-scale placemaking installation was built to enrich the public realm, encourage community interaction and promote urban biodiversity.

Positioned at the centre of the activation, Hive combined insect-friendly planters, shaded breakout spaces, and comfortable social seating, all constructed using recycled timber and sustainably sourced wood offcuts to ensure an environmentally conscious build.

As part of its multifunctional design, Hive also incorporated dedicated play zones, including integrated areas for chess and skittles, both mirrored within the architectural structure to create a cohesive and engaging experience.

The final installation served as a vibrant, sustainable hub within CityPoint - enhancing the outdoor environment, supporting wellbeing, and delivering a dynamic focal point for Brookfield’s summer placemaking programme.
